[f_minor] GG - The Acoustic Orchestrations - Scriabin & Sibelius

Hello Ted,

I'm also surprised that this exiting release hasn't been discussed very
much. I remember some messages before this multi-microphone release of
Scriabin's 5th sonata and I know there are others on F minor that know
much more about this CD double.

I can tell you that both the sonata AND the two poems Désir and Caresse
dansée has never before been released as "acoustic orchestrations". Gould
did record them with the four different microphone settings he used in the
Sibelius release, but he never got around to edit them. These versions are
realized after his death but, as far as I can tell, they do follow his
intentions.

This is definitely an album any Gould fan should own!
