Yes, Hussong is amazing. It seems likely that he has been listening to 
Gould's 1981 recording. At least that's what I hear in for example the 
first variation.

Those clips with the Netherlands Bach Society are amazincg. I didn't 
know about that site -- thanks! In my opinion they're the very best 
choir/ensemble when it comes to Bach.
