I too write poetry and have written some poems about Glenn. Whenever I finish my little book<br>
(it's mostly about another hero of mine, R.L Stevenson) I will send you a copy. I'll send you a photo of the marker in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the meantime.<br>

I saw him once, in a Toronto bookstore he visited (now it's a Starbucks but it has kept some of the old charm of the bookstore)...but I didn't know till after he'd left that it was him.<br>

I'm kind of new to the list. I am an artist and poet<br>
near the end of a large illustrated GG project. I live on a<br>
farm in TX. I have only met about 3 actual Glenn Gould fans<br>
(in person) in ?my life. So it was nice to find out a few<br>
years ago that there were more out there than I had thought,<br>
and such a great group of people. Another thought, is not<br>
only what GG-themed Xmas presents are the other fans looking<br>
?forward to opening, but what would GG have wanted to have<br>
for Xmas? (besides uninterrupted studio time and a project<br>
to edit, which he got one Xmas. Santa was especially kind to<br>
him that year, I guess)<br>

BTW, any F-minor person is welcome<br>

my drawings of GG and send physical cards. But for now, does<br>
anyone have an idea for the writing on the inside of the<br>
card? When I finish it I will send a link for the GG-themed<br>
card. "Xmas just isn't the same ?without GG under<br>
the tree. Many happy returns!" Surely someone on the<br>
list can improve on that? Maybe just blank??<br>
PS, my family is just rolling their<br>
eyes, but I got myself several GG Goodies to wrap up this<br>
year. Is anyone else looking forward to Xmas because they<br>
got themselves something sweet to listen to or<br>

I am running out of space on that ridiculous Ikea bookshelf,<br>
wondering what to do with all me books and music.<br>

One of the items that has been there neglected for far, far<br>
too long is a set of 11 VHS tapes (yes, remember ?) of The<br>
Glenn Gould Collection back from the mid / late 90s by Bruno<br>
Montsagenon in PAL format.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
I don?t need them anymore, the VCR went kaputt bloody years<br>
ago but they are of historic significance and afaIk you<br>
might get some snippets of stuff that is not on the CBC<br>
box.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Yet I cannot bear the thought of throwing them out or just<br>
put them up on ebay and since I reckon they still might give<br>
pleasure to someone I have decided to look for a new home<br>
and just give them away for naught amongst the f_minor<br>
crowd.<br>

Tapes should be in VG+ condition, I doubt that I played all<br>
of them more than 3 times or so.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
So if you want them just let me know yer snail mail and I<br>
will send them to you free of charge P&P paid (yet for<br>
imports taxes might apply).<br>
<br>
Time to let go ? and give these tapes a new resting place<br>
where they get some love again....<br>
